Innovation

Pixar

Pixar released the world’s first full length animated film in 1995, by the name of Toy Story. A movie that many children in my generation watched probably multiple times. I know I personally watched it every day after school for weeks. Since then, Pixar has been nothing short of a paragon of animation innovation, and I don’t say that lightly.

Ideas stay in your mind if you leave them there. You breathe life into them when you write them down, and perhaps with some hard work and the belief that you can create something that the world hasn’t yet seen, you can see it come to life before your very eyes.

I’m still not sure if each year the animators at Pixar developed new ideas for movies, thus needing to go back to the drawing board to innovate as a way of allowing them to see their stories come to life, or if they worked on technology and then developed stories to showcase their leaps in innovation that year, possibly creating a way to render 10K+ balloons and then writing a story about a house that is carried off by balloons. Who knows?
